Guess What? We’re in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2027!

We’re absolutely delighted and more importantly genuinely honoured... to share that we’ve been included in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2027, launched this week.

Only 23 pubs across Calderdale made it into this year’s guide, so to be among them means a great deal to us.

A good pub is about far more than what’s on the bar. It’s about the welcome when you walk through the door, the familiar faces, the conversations, the food and the atmosphere . For us it's also about having somewhere people can feel at home. I love to harp on about community hubs and social events, we all come together and we all genuinely have a great time helping, supporting and raising each other up!

We’re proud to have been part of the local community for generations, and we’re so pleased to have our hard work recognised. From looking after the beer to keeping the fire going (well done Dad), serving good food and making everyone feel welcome, it’s very much a team effort.

A huge thank you to our staff, our suppliers, and of course all our regulars and visitors who continue to support us. You’re the reason pubs like ours can keep doing what they do best.

We’ll raise a glass to that — and we hope you’ll come and join us.

Here’s to CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2027, Calderdale’s brilliant pubs, and many more good times ahead.
