Half Term Breathers: Pop in and Say Hello

We hope you’ve all had a brilliant half term! Whether you’ve spent the week out braving the autumn walks, entertaining the troops, or just trying to keep up with the chaos, it’s always a busy one. By the tail end of the holidays, parents, grandparents, and kids alike are usually in need of a proper breather.

Whether you’ve spent the week out braving the autumn walks, entertaining the troops, or just trying to keep up with the chaos, it’s always a busy one. By the tail end of the holidays, parents, grandparents, and kids alike are usually in need of a proper breather.

If you’re heading down into the village to potter about, do a bit of local shopping, or just get out of the house for an hour, why not wander across the old bridge and pop in to see us? Tell them some interesting fact from some previous blogs?

We’re properly family friendly, and there’s always a warm welcome waiting. You don’t need to be planning a grand three-course meal, either. Call in to kick off your boots, grab a comfy corner by the fire, and let everyone unwind for a bit. We’ve got fresh Darkwoods coffee, a decent pot of tea, and homemade bakes on the counter to recharge your batteries, alongside a full bar and plenty of soft drinks and snacks for the little ones. Bring your older children and ask the bar staff for a pack of cards.

After a week of keeping everyone busy, you’ve earned a quiet pause. Come say hello, have a laugh, and take the weight off your feet while you’re out and about in the village.

We’d love to see you all!
