Focaccia Friday

This Friday, we are trying something a bit special on the bar snacks menu. We’ve teamed up with the brilliant folks over at Companyhfx, who bake out of their fantastic micro-bakery just down the road in Luddendenfoot. If you haven’t had anything from them yet, you are in for a treat as it’s handmade, slow-proved, and about as fresh and honest as food gets.

Starting this Friday from 4pm until 9pm, we’re kicking off our very first, of many hopefully, Focaccia Friday.

No fuss, no overcomplicating things. We’re serving their fresh, pillowy focaccia on a slate alongside generous glugs of finest sourced olive oil and a rich velvety eight-year-old balsamic vinegar. Tear off a piece, dip it deep, and let it do the mouth-talking. It’s absolutely spot-on for sharing across the table with mates over a pint or simply as an easy bar snack to accompany a decent glass of wine after a long week.

When you call in for a board, you aren't just supporting our old stone walls, you’re putting money straight back into an independent local micro-baker working magic right here in the valley. That kind of local community cycle has kept places like ours ticking along for hundreds of years, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
